This is a work in progress. Please send corrections and suggestions to: Ranpalandil

Ranpalandil is especially interested in hearing of any new species that may be discovered.

You may download a Microsoft WORD document version of this guide for printing by saving the following link to your computer: eFlora2.doc.

  • To download the file, RIGHT click eFlora2.doc and select Save Target As... (MSIE) or Save Link As... (Netscape)
  • On a Mac, click and hold eFlora2.doc, and when the pop up menu appears, select Download Link to Disk (MSIE) or Save this Link as... (Netscape).

You may download a Microsoft EXCEL spreadsheet for useful sorting by saving the following link to your computer: floraldatabase2.xls.

  • To download the file, RIGHT click floraldatabase2.xls and select Save Target As... (MSIE) or Save Link As... (Netscape)
  • On a Mac, click and hold floraldatabase2.xls, and when the pop up menu appears, select Download Link to Disk (MSIE) or Save this Link as... (Netscape).

Use of the EXCEL spreadsheet: You must Enable Macros upon opening the file. You may select Regions, Climates, and Terrains from the drop down lists that you are interested in. Then click on the Run button to start the sorting macro and view the results. (note: Any result with a question mark is unknown. Ranpalandil will be very happy with any help with this ongoing research.)

If you accidentally delete any information from either of these files, just download the most up to date copy again from here.
