Foraging... if you ever have questions on foraging... send them along. I will be happy to add my thoughts... This was written in a foraging guide by a lord ranger that I ...umm...misplaced... and was unable to find again.

The ability to forage is considered a threshold...there are ways to lower this threshold and therefore get better rolls and get easier chances of successfully foraging.

1. Higher level = lower threshold

2. One free hand = lower threshold (2 free hands lowers even more)

3. Class = Ranger lowest, sorcerer and wizard are highest

4. 603 = lowers threshold

5. Kneeling = lowers threshold

6. Hiding = doesn't lower threshold but it allows you to forage without a monster coming in and kicking your butt…
